Send your mind spinning with this exciting brain-teaser challenge. Spin-Out is the spinning, sliding puzzle game with a whole lot of twists that will keep the hours on the clock spinning by. Start at the designated spot, and then one by one, turn each disk sideways to form a straight line. The object is to line up the disks in order to release the slide from its holder — you’ll be surprised how hard it is! Spin-Out tests players’ logical deduction, concentration and problem-solving skills while they try to unlock the slide. Best of all, when the puzzle is solved, it’s easy to reset with the new hinge design. For one player.

I loved this puzzle !
Watching friends and family members attempt it, my conclusion is that the world is separated in two groups: those who get this puzzle (some quite intuitively) and those who don’t get it at all; no matter how much explanation and demonstration you subject them to (LOL)!!
You can easily find detailed solutions on the internet if you are of the second group!
The construction is pretty good quality and the product works really well but a quick Warning to impatient people: don’t attempt any move that require forcing a piece to move… if you have the proper method, the pieces move very smoothly and with no obstruction…. You simply need to be open to go one step forward and several steps back
Enjoy !

This is one of those challenging-but-not-too-challenging puzzles. It’s hard enough that you’ll probably feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment at figuring it out, although you may experience some frustration along the way (but I think any decently challenging puzzle should have at least a few of those moments).
I’d say this puzzle is a good beginner/intermediate puzzle for someone who enjoys brain puzzles like the Rubik’s cube. Most people aren’t going to be able to pick up a Rubik’s cube and solve it on their own within a few days. But most people will be able to solve this one on their own within a few hours or days.

Purchased Spinout for my classroom because my students loved “Flipside” and this looked similar… this one is actually a bit more fun because it’s easier. They get frustrated with Flipside very quickly but this one can be picked up and messed with, and after a few minutes you get the hang of the pattern… but then to carry it all the way through is not too easy! Perfect balance between aggravating and simple. I highly recommend this.

Like a good book, this is hard to put down. We bought a few of these as stocking stuffers for 10-14 year old kids. Not easily solved, it challenges you to keep going. Just when you think you are making progress, it humbles you to keep thinking. I’m sure all the kids will get this before I do. It may take me awhile, but it WILL get solved.

I have really enjoyed “spin out.” It is fun, challenging, and yet not overly complicated or difficult. Very fun, and highly recommended!
