This puzzle was very interesting. I required really looking at the colors and the geometry. I enjoyed putting it together. I liked the way the pieces stayed together.

Loved the quality of this puzzle as well as the colorful graphic design…just enough challenge. This puzzle is gift-quality. A particularly nice feature of this puzzle is that the finish is “matte”, reducing glare off the pieces and easier on the eyes as you’re searching for that one particular piece. Also makes a beautiful finished piece that would look great framed.

I remember watching my Dad do puzzles growing up and helping him, I had always enjoyed it so much. I had not done a puzzle in over 10 years but chose 2 500 piece ones to put in my twin boys room. I was hooked again! Having those completed very quickly made me want to move up to a 1000 piece, and I looked at several on Amazon. The reviewer who mentioned the sharp color contrast and straight lines making it easier than it looked, also another review not recommending it to experienced jigsaw addicts, lol, made my decision.
Completed, it is absolutely beautiful. I was not sure about the matte finis when I opened the box, h but now I love it. Beyond pleased by how sturdy the pieces are. There were some very tricky parts/pieces, it did cause some times of major frustration, but, again, this was my 1st 1000 piece.
I would say this is a great puzzle for someone 1)moving up to a 1000 piece puzzles 2)getting back into doing puzzles 3) a Frank Lloyd Wright fan. I agree with the other reviewer that would not recommend it to experienced jigsaw addicts, unless you really love the design, I imagine they would have it completed very quickly.
Considering the fact that I have 4 year old twin boys, I first spent most of my time sorting the pieces into several resealable bags by section. I don’t know how many hours I spent on putting it together, but from the time I started the outside border until my last piece was a late Fri night to the next Wed. mid-day.
One more thing, when you get this puzzle, it looks like it comes in a sturdy plastic resealable bag. To save anyone a few minutes of time and trying to figure out how to get it open, the bag is not resealable, it just appears that way, just an FYI!
4-11-10 Edited to add: I have started another 1000 piece puzzle and will say this one was much harder! It was also much more enjoyable. I also want to add that the Pomegranate brand is 1000 times better than the current brand I am doing, a popular one on Amazon. I am about to purchase the Tiffany: Butterfly Window by Pomegranate, the quality of the pieces is exceptional and worth the extra few dollars!

Was very excited to purchase, but expected a more difficult puzzle to complete.
Beautiful to see, and comes with info on Wright. Would not recommend to experienced jigsaw puzzle addicts.
